...with better players.

USC football is virtually unwatchable.

You're right. I didn't watch it.

Spot on. I'm sure Swann is hearing it, but it is doubtful anything will be done until we get blown out by ND.

Serious question....is anyone truly confident that SC will pull the trigger and hire a real coach years end? Im so jaded at this point, I don’t feel we’ll make the right decision here.

Yeah, that's been the dilemma since pete left. You knew HH wouldn't do their due diligence. Firing a bad coach is only half of the problem.  I think this was Haden's plan all along.  ND should be most pleased right now.

With you on this. As has been pointed out many times over the years, the last home run hire by USC was Howard Jones in 1925. Hiring Stoops, or really any proven coach, would be reversing almost 90 years of tradition at 'SC.

We just make bad hire after bad hire and every 4 or 5 hires get lucky. All we can do is push to get these shitty coaches canned as quickly as possible so we can move on to the next one and hope he's Carroll or McKay.

Correct on all points. Which shows the true power of the SC brand, that despite the hit and miss of their hires, they are still in the 1% of the 1%.
Imagine if they took football seriously, like the B12 or SEC!
